Practice counting to 120 by twos with your child.

READING  - Enjoy some extra time reading  on Bookflix, Epic, Learning A-Z, Book in a Bag, or check out some books from the TCE library.  Our librarian hands out library books on Wednesdays.

In the reading course of Schoology, you can find the kindergarten, first grade, and second grade snap word list.

Social Studies: We have started our unit on Economics in social studies.  This is a great time for discussions with your children about earning money, spending money, and the differences between needs and wants.

Virtual Learner Announcements
  • Dream Box - Please make sure your child is on Dream Box at least 3 times a week for 15 minutes.  :-)
  • Our district uses a web-based platform called bulb.  Using bulb, your child can showcase their work and growth as a learner.  We will need everyone to download the bulb app from manger. Once the app is downloaded, please watch the video and follow the steps to log into your child's account and add a page to their digital portfolio. Please have this done by Monday, March 8th.   If you need help, please reach out to your child's math and science teacher.

Face to Face Learner Announcements
  • Please ask your child if they have working headphones.   Many learners have broken their headphones or the headphones do not fit them correctly.  We use these every day so it's good to invest in a good pair of headphones.  If your child needs a new pair, please send them to school.
  • Please make sure you put your child's fully charged Ipad and charger in their backpack each day.  The Ipad battery should be 100%.
  • We have library on Mondays.  Please make sure to send your library books back to school on Monday so your child can check out some new books.
